There are hundreds of good ashrams and guru's in India but there are some culprits and cons who have made mass following due to manipulations and by exploiting people religious feelings. What is behind the name and fame of ashram and guru or self called "Sant / God". We believe in god but are hurt to see when some one uses religion and ordinary people faith to exploit them.
All of the live-in slaves inside ashram are thin and skinny because they have been given
food which lacks basic ingredients require for a person to think. You can see the
detoriated physical health of sadhak who are live-in working as slaves in
cult ashram. They
are made to work hard especially 18hrs/day and they are made to chant for hours ask them
any general knowledge question on current affairs and you will be shocked
again. Slaves life is made like a puppet which is run by this cult leader
group who himself enjoys luxurious lifestyle, but his sadhak in ashrams are
made to live a life of mental manipulation all in the name of
spirituality. Sex scandals have become common as well, despite an ancient Hindu custom that calls for chastity among religious students and their teachers.
